Like we said, we don’t just care about how good our coffee and tea tastes – we want to make sure we’re doing some good for the world too. From the people who grow and harvest our products to the communities and land where the farms are located. And everywhere in between.
Discover the best organic coffee, roasted and served with uncompromising passion for a clean, healthy planet.
At Amavida Coffee Roasters, we believe spectacular coffee helps people live life well, and not only in the “Oh that’s good!” sense.
We’re always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of responsible coffee roasting, and we’re proud to be Certified Carbon-Neutral, Plastic-Neutral and a Certified B-Corp. Essentially, we’re committed to giving back to the earth just as much as we take.
We see delicious coffee as a pathway to a better world, so we don’t take shortcuts on quality. Roasted with stubborn attention to detail and a hint of love, our organic coffees are designed to delight both the casual coffee lover and the experienced enthusiast.
We’re pursuing a more ethical industry, especially for our farming partners, by paying a premium for Fair Trade and organic coffees and working with organizations like On the Ground Global to help producers create more prosperous local communities.

Rishi Tea was founded on the commitment to set the standard for quality and expand the awareness of tea and its rich, inspirational tradition. We offer premium tea and botanicals imported directly from gardens across the world. We draw inspiration from ancient artisanal practices that use organic cultivation techniques as well as modern culinary innovation. From our modest beginnings over twenty years ago to becoming an established leader in the specialty tea market, our mission has never wavered.
Our commitment to sustainability is a core part of our mission that stems from the organic tea gardens where our teas and botanicals are harvested. Our first-hand experience in many tea-growing regions led to our heightened awareness of the dire need for social responsibility. Rishi Tea was among the first to earn organic certification under the USDA’s Natural Organic Program in November of 2002.
We believe that organic certified teas and herbs, grown without the use of agrochemicals like pesticides and fertilizers, are generally healthier for the environment, farmers and tea drinkers alike. We support growers who cultivate ecologically sustainable gardens in remote locations around the world.
Tea was originally a food and medicine long before it became a steeped beverage. It is only natural that our tea practice draws inspiration from numerous disciplines, including third wave coffee, cocktail mixology, sommeliers’ oenology, botanical apothecary, and the traditional culinary arts from global food cultures.
Our practice of Direct Trade is not just a romance story or marketing gimmick: it is the very foundation of our quality control program. Our travel and hands-on work with farmers allows us to verify where, when and how our organic teas are grown and to offer traceability on each lot back to the farm.
